Dave Aronberg, State Attorney of Palm Beach County from 2013 to 2023, announced that he was not seeking a 4th term. He led a team consisting of 180 professionals and 115 prosecutors in 5 offices in Palm Beach County. He was the first to establish a Sober Homes Task Force, which made 121 arrests statewide and implemented meaningful reforms. This led Palm Beach County’s drug treatment industry and sober homes into a model for other counties.
Aronberg was also an Assistant Attorney General, White House Fellow and U.S. Department of Treasury. In 2002, he was the youngest senator in Florida and served there until 2010. Aronberg returned to Florida Attorney General’s Office in the role of Special Prosecutor on Prescription Drug trafficking. Aronberg, in his capacity as Pam Bondi’s “Drug Czar”, led an initiative against pill mills that cleaned up the industry of pain clinics and helped reduce the number of deaths each day due to oxycodone addiction.
Aronberg, a lawyer and legal analyst, has appeared on various cable channels and streaming services in recent years. He provides thoughtful analyses on legal topics and issues. Dave Aronberg, a former student of Harvard Law School, will begin the year as an instructor in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The workshop is an intensive class in trial techniques and skills that Aronberg took nearly 30 years earlier.
